Last Conference of My Mission!

October 8th 2018~General Conference Was Amazing!!!!LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!!!

Hello to my dear and amazing loved ones! I am really so excited to talk to you today because so much has happened! First and foremost, thank you SO VERY MUCH for the fun and exciting emails and pictures! I loved hearing all about your experiences from this week and I was so happy and glad that you enjoyed conference and thst your work, school, Church, and sports are going so well! I loved hearing from each of you so very much and you really put a huge smile on my face! It always gives me so much motivation and I love hearing from you so much!!!!!! Training Elder Solomon has been so very amazing and it has been a very humbling experience! I really appreciate all of your love and support so much! You are so special to me and I cherish the many fun memories that we have made and I'm so excited for the future! I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the 1 true Church on the Earth today and I'm so grateful to be able to share the Gospel! I have missed you so very much and I am always sending my love your way! I am always thinking about you and I am working so hard! We had a very amazing and busy week! I had so much fun meeting Elder Solomon last Thursday! He is from Queen Creek Arizona and there are 10 kids in his Family! His Dad was the Stake President where he lives and he has had a few siblings serve missions! He is a really hard worker and can talk to everyone about the Gospel! We have Zone Conference coming up this Thursday and so I'm really excited for that! Elder Solomon plays the piano and he was asked to play the hymns and I was asked to say the opening prayer! It will be another great week!

Last P-Day was so very amazing! It was a very great day and I had a lot of fun emailing and talking to you! Elder Caccioppoli got all packed up and it was really weird to know that he would be home in just 2 days!! Crazy!!! The weather was so nice and we had a fun day preparing for the end of the transfer! It was fun to think that my new companion was flying out today and was traveling! The highlight of today was being able to talk to you! I really appreciate your emails so much! The Sister Missionaries delivered some Books of Mormon and a few other supplies and so we are ready to roll for this next transfer! I'm really excited to show a new missionary the ropes and help him adjust to missionary life. I always think back to my training in the Bronx and what helped me. Elder Kirkham helped me adjust so well and I was blessed to have Elder Williams as my trainee because he really was such an awesome companion! We got everything done and Elder Caccioppoli said it hasn't hit him that he is going home yet. After our fun P-day ended, we had an amazing dinner with Sister Campbell at the Church! She is such a nice lady and wants to make sure we feel at home even though we aren't at home. It was such a fun time and she made us some yummy food! She made us homemade meatballs and sauce with salad and garlic bread! It was weird that 3 of the 4 missionaries are leaving and I'm the only one staying. Sister Campbell got a few pictures with us and we had a great time! I'm so excited for tomorrow and can't wait to meet my new companion! It's so exciting and I will tell you all about him! I hope your evening was so fun and you had a great time! Newark, here we come!!! LOVE & MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!

Tuesday was so VERY amazing!!!! What a fun and exciting day it was!!!!! I have so much fun news to tell you and I'm so excited to tell you all about our day! Everything went so well and I love my trainee! We were so busy the whole day and everything went so smoothly! I was really grateful and excited for your email and I really loved hearing from you! I am so happy and excited right now because I love my trainee! We woke up and headed over to Newark and I have some very exciting news! So a few weeks ago, Elder Sparks told me that one of his best friends from Queen Creek Arizona was coming to this mission and he told me that I would train him! Well, I got my trainer call and that meant I had a 1 in 13 chance to train him! Guess who I got as my trainee??? Elder Sparks' friend! Can you even believe that? After the meeting, we went outside and Elder Sparks was standing there and got to talk to Elder Solomon! Elder Sparks told me on his split that he would be coming out and he made the joke that I would train him but the chances of that were so slim! So all of the trainers met in the lobby of the Newark Chapel and then we joined the trainees in a room where they were having their meeting and we sat down behind them all and had our names announced and who would be our trainees! The Sisters were first to be announced and they announced who my companion would be very last and so I knew he would be my companion! He is such a great guy and he is a very hard worker! He is from Queen Creek Arizona and is the 2nd youngest out of 10 kids! A lot of his siblings have served missions and so he is excited to serve! We got back to the apartment after getting to know each other on the car ride home and then we got right to work! We planned out the rest of our day and he is such a great missionary! His Brother was an assistant to the Mission President where he served and so he has big shoes to fill! We did some tracting and invited a ton of people to General Conference and had a ton of success! We visited Carrie and she told us that she would be in Boston this weekend and would go to lds.org and watch conference! Then we met a guy named Ed who is related to Brian Walsh and he told us that he is from Brooklyn. We did some tracting and it was so cool to introduce Elder Solomon to tracting and showing him the ropes of missionary work! Towards the end of the evening, it started to pour rain and there was lightning every couple of seconds. It was really crazy and we ended up getting a few inches of rain! Elder Solomon is so nice and will turn 19 next month and so we will get to celebrate his Birthday! His Dad served in the Billings Montana mission and he had siblings serve in Belgium, and a couple of missions in the states. He has lived in the same house all his life and his oldest Brother is married and have 5 kids! It was weird to say goodbye to Elder Caccioppoli today and I loved the picture of him on Facebook and noticed that you commented on it! It was just such a great day and so much has happened! I'm adjusting really well to this new companionship and we are going to have 2 amazing transfers together I can tell! I hope I remembered everything that I wanted to tell you because I sure had such a great day! I love and miss each of you so very much and I can always feel your love, support and prayers!!!! I feel such a strength and I have felt even more love and prayers with the added responsibility of being a trainer! It was fun to think that he was in Utah yesterday and got to go through the new MTC! As we were tracting, people felt bad that we were out in the rain and asked us to come back later! The work is going so well and Elder Solomon has adjusted so well already and says he feels confident and ready to go! I'm so excited to see what these next 2 transfers have in store! Have such an amazing day and know that I love you all more than anything!!! LOVE YOU TONS!!!!!

Wednesday was so amazing as well! I absolutely love training and I have been so blessed with 2 amazing trainees! I hope I am explaining everything well! I type so fast because I have so many awesome experiences to share and so I hope it all comes together! I woke up this morning and I was SO excited to see your emails! It makes my whole day and I am always so thankful to hear from you! I love you all so much and I thought it was so awesome that Brandon and Parker chose Elder Solomon! The first name of the Elder Reese that I went on a split with is Brady. When I said that he was from Nibley, he automatically remembered that he had Family living there. He couldn't remember their names but when I said Peggy and James, he knew exactly who I was talking about. He also remembered that he has Family in Las Vegas too. Very interesting!!! I have loved being able to train again and it brings back a lot of memories of almost a year ago when I trained Elder Williams! We have been practicing different ways to talk to people and asking different inspired questions! It sure was a great first full day! We had such a great day and Elder Solomon is adjusting really well! He says that he loves the Mission field a lot more than the MTC and says he is learning a lot! We found out today that we are now going to meet at the Morristown Chapel for District meeting each week since our area boundaries are bigger. I love the pretty drive to Morristown and I was happy to hear that we get to go every week! I have been feeling so great and really loving my mission so much! I feel the spirit so strong and I am so excited for General Conference! So we had our first district meeting of the transfer and President Hess came to our meeting and it was so great to see him! He is such a nice guy and is always happy to see us! We talked about our investigators and how the ward is doing and then we drove back and just as we pulled in to our apartment, Daniel came to pick us up for him to take us out for a few hours! Elder Solomon is doing really well and he is so good at talking to people! The trees have been changing colors so fast and it looks really amazing over here! There are so many different colors of reds and oranges and it has been really fun to see! We did some tracting and visited a Sister in the ward that is in a nursing home and is very lonely. When she saw us, it put a big smile on her face! Then as we were doing some tracting, we met a really cool lady and she was wearing a Jets shirt and had her 2 sons that were Parker's age with her and they knew a lot about Jesus Christ! She said that they were baptized Roman Catholic and have gone to schools that teach them about the Bible. We tried to ask her some good questions and to get her to open up a little more but she wasn't interested. Elder Solomon does a great job with getting lots of work done and loves to work hard! It Jas been so much fun so far to be companions with him! He is a lot like Elder Williams and wants to do his best! I can tell that Elder Solomon will be a great leader! It is really cool because whenever I train a new missionary, I always feel an extra boost of the spirit and energy and it really is so amazing to help a new missionary adjust to the schedule and the work! After dinner, we had such a great evening and it was one of the coolest evenings ever! We went to visit Carl Fusco and he was home and wanted to talk with us! So we had an amazing lesson with him and Elder Solomon leaned over to me a whispered "Priesthood blessing" into my ear and so we explained the priesthood and gave him an amazing priesthood blessing to help him with his health challenges. Then we tracted a really awesome apartment complex and Elder Solomon knocked on his first door today and took the lead in talking to the person and started the conversation! I love how excited he is to work and jumps right in and says "I've got this one!" I feel like Heavenly Father has blessed me with the best companions because Elder Solomon is a powerful missionary! I'm doing so great and I can't even believe where time has gone! I was looking back in my journal to what I was doing 1 year ago to the day and I was almost about to get transferred to Manhattan 1 year ago! Crazy! I hope you all had a really great and fun day! LOVE EACH OF YOU SO, SO, SO VERY MUCH!!!!!

I GOT YOUR FUN AND EXCITING PACKAGE TODAY!!!! You just made my whole day and I was so excited to see a package in our mailbox today! Thursday was another really awesome and great day! I hope that you all had a very amazing day and had some fun too! I was cheering Brandon on today as he played Bear River and I hope he won! This has been an amazing week and we have enjoyed having the whole ward to cover! It will take us a while to visit all of the investigators that the Sisters were teaching and we will familiarize ourselves with the new part of our area as we go. I have gotten to know Elder Solomon really well! His older Brother started a concrete business and so Elder Solomon has been working for him for the last few years. He says that he has traveled to many different parts of Utah and says that he has been to Salt Lake quite a few times. He really liked hunting and fishing and so he really enjoys the scenery over here! I have really been thankful for the experiences I've had on my mission and I can't thank you enough for your love and support! It has been such an amazing experience and I can't wait to spend time with you when I come home! I'm working my hardest and I love being a missionary! We had so much going on today and we did our first weekly planning together and we had a dinner appointment scheduled, a lesson with the Marvin Family and also a service project for a lady that we found tracting when I was with Elder Caccioppoli! I have really loved reading the Doctrine and Covenants all the way through and it has been fun to know that we are all reading it together! Elder Solomon and I have been starting to study and read Preach My Gospel together and some of the resource books for missionaries like "Adjusting to missionary life". It has made me feel like a brand new missionary again! Hehe! I love you all so much and I am always so thankful for you and all that you do for me! I really loved getting a package and thought it was so nice of you to send it! I noticed that it had Abby's name on it and so I have to thank you so much dear Abby! It was such a fun surprise and I will totally love and enjoy munching on treats during conference! We had an amazing rest of our day and I think that I have the best trainee that anyone could ask for! Elder Solomon came pre trained and is a powerful missionary! He seriously has picked up everything so quickly and is so excited to work! I have loved seeing him change and grow in the last 2 days that we have been together! We have had some powerful experiences and I'm so thankful to have him as my companion! We had a lesson with the Marvin Girls and we read 2 Nephi 31 and then we went tracting in a new part of our area that used to be covered by the sister missionaries! We had some amazing things happen and it was such a cool experience! So we were tracting and a lady opened up the door and her dog was barking so loud that we couldn't talk so she couldn't here us and we couldn't hear her. Elder Solomon opened up the Book of Mormon and started reading Moroni 10: 3-5 and within a second, the dog stopped barking and we ended up giving her a copy of the Book of Mormon! It was amazing! We found some really nice people and ended up giving out 5 copies of the Book of Mormon in one evening! We came back to the apartment for the night and we were so stoked about how well this transfer has gone so far! It has been so special and I have loved being companions with Elder Solomon! He is such an awesome guy and told me that he wants my last 2 transfers in the mission to be special and memorable. I love each one of you with all my heart and you mean the world to me! I cherish each one of you and I know the Church is true! Hey! That rhymes! Hehe! Thanks again for the fun package dear Family! LOVE YOU TONS!!!!!!!Go Dubbie!!!

Friday was absolutely so amazing!!! I'm SO excited for General Conference tomorrow and can't wait to hear all of the fun talks! I will be thinking about you a lot and watching it with you in spirit! I was so excited for your email and it was really awesome to hear from you! I was so thankful for your email and it is always so much fun to have an email in my inbox! I hope that you will have such a fun Conference weekend! I will enjoy my treats so much and It will be such a fun time! We had a very packed and busy day and it was Elder Solomon's first time going to the food pantry and he really enjoyed it! We also got a call from Elder Jensen, who is the senior couple in charge of all the cars and he said that a few cars in the mission got a recall for some electrical wiring issues and so he asked us to go and get that fixed. So after the food pantry, we went to the Toyota dealer and got it all taken care of. I have been thinking about you so much and I wish I could hug you right now! This last week has been really amazing and there is so much good work going on in this area! I have really enjoyed this area and I have grown so much! I just want you to know that I love you so very much and I'm so thankful for you! We are just about 2 months away until we see each other again and I'm so, so, so very excited! Elder Solomon thought it was really cool that he gets to be my last companion and I'm so glad he is my last companion too because I have really enjoyed working with him! We had a great time at the food pantry and we even got to invite a few people to watch General Conference! It's hard to believe that this is my last General Conference on my mission! I hope you will have an amazing weekend and have fun! It seems like yesterday that we were watching conference and I can't believe the last one was 6 months ago! It's so much fun to think that I will get to watch the next conference with you!!!! So after we got the Toyota fixed and got all of the maintenance done that Elder Jensen asked us to, we studied and then went to go tracted for the rest of the evening! Let me just say that the weather today was absolutely perfect! I have loved seeing all of the trees and different colors because it looks so amazing! It has been pretty chilly here and I have had so much fun training Elder Solomon! It has been such an incredible experience to be a missionary and I know that this Church is true and blesses our lives each and every day! While we were tracting, we met a very interesting man who claims to have caught a bolt of lightning in his hands and said that he commanded dogs to bark at the same time and they started to bark all around his neighborhood. So weird! Then we shared a scripture with a lot of people and found a lady that has been to all of the holy sights in Israel and Jerusalem! She said that she goes to a Methodist church and so we asked her what keeps her going back and she said that she loves the Family aspect of her Church. Then we went to Highland Lakes to help Sister Campbell out! She called and asked if we would help load up a few boxes and different things for a yard sale that her neighbor was having and so Sister Campbell donated some really cool antiques to sell! She had an cool school desk from the 1930's that had a built in ink well and a few really cool paintings and some other odds and ends. Then we drove it around the corner and we took a load in our car and set it up for the yard sale. Then she asked us if we wanted a treat and so she took us to a really yummy ice cream shop called "Dairy Swirl!" They have some of the best ice cream ever and I got one called Graham Central Station with Reese's cups on it! Wow! Was it a yummy pre-conference treat! We came back to the apartment and we are just so excited for Conference tomorrow! It is a fun time to be a missionary! Well, every time is a fun time to be a missionary but conference weekend is extra fun! I hope you all had a very amazing and fun day and you are cheering on the Aggies to victory! "Go Aggies, Go Aggies, Hey, Hey, Hey!!!!" I love each one of you so much and you are the GREATEST!!! HAPPY GENERAL CONFERENCE!!! LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!

HAPPY GENERAL CONFERENCE EVERYONE!!!! I hope you all had an amazing and fun time watching General Conference and had some yummy treats! I had the best time ever watching conference and totally loved all of the talks! I was so happy and excited for your fun emails when I woke up and was so happy to hear that the Aggies won! That is so awesome and such an exciting win! I loved your General Conference memes and thought they were so funny! Hehe! Thanks so much for thinking of me! I really appreciate you so much and I loved your emails! I was really impressed that the Aggies pulled out a huge win! I had so much fun eating your yummy treats and thought of you the whole time! Everything went so smoothly and it was such a fun time! The next time General Conference is on...........we will be watching it together!!!! After we did our morning studies, we drove over to the Church to set up for Conference and it went really well! It started at 12:00 and we had a lot of fun hearing the talks and snacking on treats! Conference weekend on the mission is always a lot of fun and so memorable! I heard that there would be a lot of big news from a few of the ward members and so I was really excited to hear what would happen and if some new Temples would be built! I was looking back in my journal and 2 years ago TODAY I got my mission call!!!! Isn't that just so very amazing! It made me think back to when I opened my call and how special it was! I also read back to last October's General Conference and we had breakfast for the Sunday morning session with the Lopez Family in Kingston and we watched Conference with Bill and Elder Howard! I wrote in my journal how much I missed you and how much I wanted to see you and how much I appreciated your conference treats! I have loved keeping a journal and looking back to what I was doing exactly a year ago! So after we got everything set up for Conference, we turned off the lights and tuned in for the fun talks! I was so excited to hear about the Sacrament meeting schedule change and I thought it was so crazy that I will be home before it even is put into place! I loved getting your Facebook message! I loved the talks and it took lots of notes and a lot stuck out to me! I think that the changes are going to work really well and they might take some time to get used to! I really like the new schedule and will be so excited to try out when I come home! It's fun that we will get to try it out together as a Family! It was a lot of fun to see some live shots of Salt Lake! Elder Solomon recognized a few of the missionaries in the MTC chior! I really thought it was cool to have a MTC choir and it was fun to see all of the "greenies!" Hehe! After the 2 sessions ended, I thought it would be fun to take Elder Solomon out to a "Welcome to the mission" & "General Conference weekend" dinner! I thought it would be fun to go out and eat for his first weekend in the mission field and so we went to Burger King and enjoyed some food before going out to work for the rest of the evening! I'm really excited and pumped that we get to see each other and give each other a long awaited hug!!!!!! Watching Conference today made me realize that I don't have very much time left at all and I thought back to what Parker said when I hit my 100 Days left mark! I will continue to give it my all and help Elder Solomon start his mission strong! I was so happy to see your Facebook messages and loved getting them so much! I hope you all had an amazing day! I thought about you a lot today and missed you!!!!! Today was a really amazing day and it was tons of fun to listen to Conference! I wonder what changes will happen tomorrow??? Have so much fun watching conference tomorrow! LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!

HAPPY SUNDAY GENERAL CONFERENCE EVERYONE!!!!! I hope each of you had another great and fun day watching Conference! I was so excited for these sessions and it was a lot of fun to know that you were watching the exact same thing at the same time! I absolutely loved all of the talks and I was so excited for your email! It made my whole day and it was so much fun to read! You always send the best emails and pictures and I really, really appreciate them! The weather has felt so nice and it was fun to see some more live videos of Salt Lake! We were really excited for our ward lunch in between sessions and I was thinking about you a lot! I was curious if there would be any more announcements or changes made today and I was really excited to find out! I enjoyed your treats again and it was a really fun time to watch it with Elder Solomon and some of the ward members! The talks were so good and I loved the fun stories! I was thinking about you and thinking how fun it was that we are both watching it at the same time! We had a yummy lunch after the first session and about 15 members came and we all had such a great time! It was so crazy to think that this was my last General Conference on my mission and I can't believe that I've already had 4 conference weekends! They had burritos, chili, cornbread, chops, salsa, root beer, and cookies for dessert! I was hoping that you were having a yummy lunch and were enjoying the talks too! The talks were all so good and I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk and his German Shepherd joke from Saturday's session! Wasn't it so cool that we were watching the exact same thing at the same time!!!! I was so very excited to get your email when we came back to the apartment and I had a blast as usual! We spent the evening visiting some investigators that were in the Sister's area and then we did some tracting. We knocked on a door and man who sounded like he was from the Domican Republic answered and asked us to come in! He told us that he visited Salt Lake city and loved it and wondered why more people haven't heard about it. He had defintly been prepared for the Gospel but he had one question and hangup thst prevented him from believing everything that we said. He told us that if we can't prove and have physical evidence that the Book of Mormon took place, then he wouldn't read it. We explained everything that we could but he just couldn't accept it without proof and so we did the only thing we could and that was to invited him to read and pray about the Book of Mormon and so we will see! I was sad that Conference was over but I was so very happy to hear from you and was so excited about everything going on! I'm so happy and thankful that you all had such a great week and that you enjoyed Conference! Thanks a bunch for the fun email and pictures! I really loved your details and was so thankful for everything that you told me! I am doing so great and Elder Solomon is such an amazing missionary! I was so glad that you got my paper from President Hess! Thanks again for the awesome email! Have such an amazing day and I will talk to you soon my dear Family!!!!!!! LOVE YOU TONS!!!!!!
