Good Times In New York!

July 12th 2017~What an amazing week! Have so much fun with the Dunns! Congrats Megan and Jay!

Hello my amazing family!!! Wow! Thank you so much for the awesome email, pictures, and video! I'm so glad that you all had an awesome and fun week! It was a ton of fun to hear all about it and watch your video! I really hope that I remember everything that happened and that everything makes sense. Love you all so much and hope you have an awesome week! I can chat back and forth all day today! It will be awesome! Tonight, we are doing something really fun! Dalton, invited us over for dinner again and I am in charge of desert! I decided to make the cheesecake that you sent me! Dalton loves cheesecake (that makes 2 of us!) and so we are bringing that and then we are having Jamaican beef patties with strawberry lemonade sangria. It will be awesome and a fun end to our P-Day! I will upload lots of pictures of our day!

Last P-Day was really awesome! It was pretty boring though, sorry! So we woke up, got ready for the day, did our studies then we headed downstairs to throw in our first load of laundry. Then we can back upstairs and started to email! I couldn't wait to respond and talk to you! Then it was time to go switch our laundry to the dryer and then we emailed some more. Then after we got our laundry all folded and put away, we headed to Aldi's to do our weekly shopping. I always like picking food out and finding good deals so I can get the most for my money! I have a budget of $20.00 each week and it helps me so much stay on track each month. I will usually only take the 1 $20.00 bill so I can't spend any more than that. It works really well! Then as we were coming back from shopping and we were waiting at a bus stop, we saw an older lady pushing a little cart so we all stood up so she could have a seat on the bench. She looked like an American but when she talked we could tell that she definately wasn't from around here. So she sat down and we began to talk with her. She was shocked that we would stand up and give her our seats. She was a very nice lady! We asked her where she was from and she said: Yugoslavia. Isn't that cool?? She was getting on a different bus so we said goodbye to her and told her to have a great day! So after we got back to the apartment from grocery shopping, we just decided to clean the apartment, email, and rest. Elder Dick was really tired and so he took a nap while I straightened up the apartment. We had a great and relaxing P-Day! Then after our P-Day ended, we headed to Boston Road to do a few lookups and try to talk to as many people as we could. First, we went to go knock of Mike Sambola, Mark, and Madeline Lopez' door. None of them were home unfortunately but we were still determined to find our catch somebody at home. We thought we should go knock on Yenice's door and so we walked down to her apartment and knocked on her door. She was home! Eunice answered the door and I introduced her to Elder Dick. She hadn't ever met him before since she hasn't been home when we have knocked on her door. Her 16 year old son, Steven, remembered me and shook my hand. We got talking with them and showed them a Plan Of Salvation video on the Gospel Library app and they really enjoyed it. I forgot to mention that Yenice is from Puerto Rico and had lived here most of her life. So we talked with them and then set a return appointment! We had a great evening and enjoyed getting to know them better! It was a great P-Day!

Thursday was great! We started the day by going on a 1 mile run around Bronx park! It was really nice outside but really hot and humid. I can't believe how humid it is around here! When we walk outside, it hits you and you are immediately hot. So we went for a run and we saw tons of different people. I have LOVED getting to know so many different people from all over the world! To give you an idea of how many countries I have met, here is a list.
●Brother Danquah: Africa
●Osagie: Nigeria
●Brother Tsakpoe: Ghana and Switzerland
●Bishop Jessop: Utah
●Dalton: Jamaica
Those are just a few of the places where people in our Ward are from. Then, there is a street of apartment buildings near our apartment, and there are tons of Albanians that live there. It has been really fun to ask people where they are from because there are so many nationalities right here! It is really cool to have someone tell us that they were born and raised in the Bronx because then they have a really cool accent! Then as we were running I was so happy to see that up ahead were some Brown Eyed Susans! I explained to everyone that the colors of the flower are were Wyoming got their colors! They thought it was really cool that I knew that. So after our run, we came back to the apartment and got ready for the day, did our studies, then started weekly planning! We planned for all of our investigators and planned for all of our lessons. We are working with a really awesome lady named Kay who we are really trying to work on getting her baptized!!!! We hadn't set a date yet but we are really excited that she is so willing to meet with us and learn more! So we planned out our whole week and scheduled in everything that we would be doing and then we had an early dinner and then we headed out for the night. We stopped by to see if Marcus Daley was home and sure enough, he was! We talked with him about how he and his family was doing. They have been so busy and haven't had time to meet. We read the introduction with him to try to rekindle that interest. We are trying to build his faith by having him read and pray about the Book of Mormon and come to Church. So after we talked with Marcus, we went to a man named Ebenezer who is from Africa. He was home but he was really busy and so we gave him our phone number and then we said that we would call him sometime when his schedule frees up a little. Then after that, it was 8:25 so it was time for us to head back to the apartment for the night. It was a great and productive day and we got our whole week planned out and lessons planned!

I forgot to tell you something absolutely crazy that happened while I was on my split with Elder Stevens a while ago. I can't believe this! So we were sitting down at a train station, waiting for the train to come and then a different train passed us and I couldn't believe what I saw on the back of the train. Hanging of the back of the subway train were 2 teenage boys. They had grabbed on the fast moving train and were holding on for dear life. They were laughing and yelling the whole time. Those trains move very fast and I couldn't believe that they would do something like that. It was really crazy and dangerous.

Friday was an INCREDIBLE day!!! It started out a little gloomy because we woke up to an absolute torrential downpour. It was raining buckets.......literally! But we were SO grateful for our umbrellas to keep us dry! So we got ready for the day and did our personal study and then we got a call from our Zone Leaders and they asked us if we could help a member of the Kingsbridge ward move into her new apartment that is in the Zone Leader's area. They were busy teaching a lesson during that time so we gladly helped them out. Well, they misunderstood what the member was saying since she didn't speak English very well. She did need help moving.....a barrel. So we made the journey over to the Zone Leader's area and it took us about 45 minutes to get there. They misunderstood what they said and so we gladly helped them. We carried a huge barrel of storage down to their basement. They thanked us and were very grateful for our help. It was great to help them out! Then we headed back to the apartment and had some lunch and then did our language and companionship study. We had some great studies and then we headed to Co-Op City to do some lookups. So we walked to the bus stop and we saw a homeless man that we have seen before sitting on a bench. He wasn't waiting for the bus but we waving his finger at us and told us to come over to him. We remembered him and we remembered that he was the one that had us go into the C-Town store and buy him a 2 liter bottle of cream soda with a cup of ice. I think i told you about him a while ago but I can't remember. So he called us over and said hi to us! He was very nice and friendly! He had another mission for us. He asked us if we could go into the 7-11 that and buy him a big Dr. Pepper and 2 sandwiches. It was funny because he was VERY specific in what he wanted. We still can't figure out why he can't go into the store and buy it himself but we think it is because he is homeless and people won't let him in. He is a very nice guy and was very trusting to give us money to go buy him food. So he asked us very specifically to go buy him a 99 cent Dr. Pepper fountain drink with just a little bit of ice, 2 Italian sandwhiches with blue cheese and honey mustard sauce, and a spoon. We wanted to make sure we got his order right since he had so very little money that he was making sure he got what he wanted and since it was his 1st meal in a while. I can't believe how trusting this guy is though. He has some money but he isn't able to pay for an apartment. He sits there and waits for someone he can trust to walk buy and have buy him some food. So whenever we walk by, he says: "Well, I know I can trust you." So he handed us a $20.00 bill. Very trusting guy, anyone could have walked away with his $20.00 so he made sure that he gave it to someone that he could trust. So we went and bought him the food that he wanted and I had to do it..... I gave him a "No slurp guarantee"! I had to in your honor! So we took him his 2 sandwiches, the sauces, and the Dr. Pepper and he was so grateful! He kept saying that he was so grateful for us and that he could trust us enough with $20.00! It was neat to help him out and let him know that we can be trusted. So hopefully we see him again soon. So then our bus came and we headed to Co-Op City and we saw something AMAZING on the way back to the apartment!! We knocked on lots of doors and we enjoyed being out in the beautiful weather! We knocked on Wendy Moore and Paulette Sibblies' door who we already had in our records and unfortunately they weren't home. We called them and they didn't answer. We got to talk to lots of people but they didn't show much interest in learning more. So after a few hours of tracting and lookups, we headed back to the apartment for dinner. As we were driving, I looked over and I couldn't believe what I saw!! Pulling onto the freeway was a beautiful white 1940s Rolls-Royce! It is such a car and expensive car. To give you an idea of what this car looked like, it was almost the exact same as the Rolls-Royce from Back to the Future. It was really cool to see! You don't see those hardly ever and so it was really awesome to see! So we had our dinner and then we headed to a lesson with Sister Tobias! She had just gotten called to be a Gospel Docterines teacher last Sunday and so we were called to go over to her apartment and train her and help her with her 1st lesson that she gets to teach this Sunday. It was on the Priesthood so we helped her get an idea of what she wanted to talk about. We had a great discussion with her and then it was time for our 8:00 lesson with our awesome investigator, Kay! We got to her apartment right on time and knocked on her door and Kay's grand daughter answered the door and said t hst Kay wasn't home. She said that Kay was at the grocery store and she wasn't sure when she would get home. Kay knew all about our appointment and we had talked to her earlier in the day to confirm our appointment and she said that we were good to come over. So we weren't sure why she forgot and went shopping. We called her and she didn't answer so we decided to go try to find her and see if she was at the C-town right by our apartment. We walked to the grocery store to look for her but we couldn't ever find her or get a hold of her. We were actually going to set a Baptisimal date with her and so we were a little disappointed that the lesson fell through. So we walked back to our apartment and hit the hay after a great day of missionary work!!

Saturday was another great and awesome day! We woke up and Elder Knudsen wasn't feeling very well at all and so he didn't think that he could work at all on Saturday. So he and Elder Jackman stayed back at the apartment. We had an awesome day! So we did our studies and then Elder Jackman and Elder Knudsen had a new referral that they really wanted to go visit and so since Elder Knudsen couldn't go, we decided that I would go with Elder Jackman to visit this guy. So Elder Jackman and I headed over to his apartment and he wasn't home unfortunately. Before we left, we asked Elder Knudsen if there is anything that we could go get for him that sounded good to eat and he told us that pizza sounded really good. So he gave us some money to buy him a small, personal pan pizza. Well, we knew that there was a Dominoes' pizza place right where we were headed, so as we were walking back from his house, we walked passed a Dominoes' and they were setting up a table with balloons and t-shirts. We walked up to see what was going on and they told us that it was Customer Appreciation Day! They said that their deal that they were having for today only was $3.99 for a medium, 1 topping pizza. We couldn't believe that the 1 time that we would go to Dominoes' would be on Customer Appreciation Day! We couldn't pass up the opportunity for a great deal on some good pizza so we texted Elder Dick to see if he wanted one. He said yes and so we all walked out of there with our own medium pizza. It was really good and it worked our perfectly that we would show up that day! Then after our good lunch, we headed up Boston Road to do lots of lookups and see if we could schedule lots of appointments. So we went out and knocked on Madeline's door and she was home! Her Grand Daughter and her friend came outside and talked with us for a little while. We passed them off to the Sisters since there isn't a 3rd male in the house and so we just like to check up on them every once in a while. Then, we went to go check up on Banjo and Michelle just down the street. A few weeks ago, we found Banjo's wife, Michelle, and so we were really happy about that. One of the hardest things that I have faced so far on my mission is scheduling appointments. It can be really frustrating at times when people don't take us seriously and don't take our lessons with them seriously. It is so hard for people to commit to a time to meet and then when we do schedule an appointment, sometimes they don't even make an appetmpt to show up for it. I hope that makes sense. So, a man we had never met before answered the door that looked nothing like Banjo and was about his same age. So we weren't sure who he was but we got talking to him and he said that he and his wife met the Sister Missionaries and had them over a few times for dinner when they were living in Buffalo! It was really cool! Then he talked about how he was going to school up in Buffalo and I shocked him with my football knowledge! 🤣 I said: "So, did you graduate from the University of Buffalo?" And he said yes. Then I said: "Oh! So you are a Bull?" The look on his face was priceless! He knew that I wasn't around from here and so he had no idea how I knew that! He was shocked that I knew his alma mater's mascot! You were so right when you said that quizzing each other at the dinner table really pays off! It is always fun to start conversations and then ease them into the Restoration or talk with them about religion. It just let's them know that we are humans and we do regular stuff just like they do. We are always told to just be ourselves and people will want to talk to us. Because if we act like salemen, then they will treat us like salemen. It was awesome! So after we did tons of lookups, we decided to head back to the apartment for dinner! But, Elder Dick and I were really thirsty and so we stopped at a Walgreens close by to get a drink. They had some really good flavored sparkling water for $1.00 and so Elder Dick and I both got one of those but then for some reason, he felt like her should buy 2 bottles of water. So we bought our drinks and then we walked outside and there was a lady standing in the shade trying to keep cool waiting for the bus. We walked up to her and Elder Dick had the idea to give her the flavored water that he bought. Since he had 2 of them, he still had one for himself. She was so grateful and she said that she really needed a drink. We got talking to her and she is from Jamacia and is going through a really tough time. She was really grateful for the water and then she got on her bus and away she went. I wish we could have seen the end result and talk with her some more but it was so nice to talk to her! So after dinner, it was about 6:00 and then we had an appointment with Matt on City Island and so we hurried over and the traffic was really bad. We enjoyed talking with lots of people and trying to find some we investigators. So we got to City Island and we talked to our good friend Matt! He has been doing really well. He told us all about how work in Manhattan was going and everything that has been going on since we haven't seen him in a while. We had a really great talk with him and left him with a spiritual thought. We had a great day and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the amazing views of Manhattan!

Sunday was another great and awesome day! We woke up and got ready to go to Church! We called and texted Kay to see if she was coming since we have been working with her so much. She didn't answer so we were just hoping that she would come on her own. So we headed to Church and there were lots of people there! It was really good to see so many people there! A lady and a younger girl walked in and I introduced myself because I hadn't ever seen them before. I asked them where they were from and they said Utah! I asked them were they were from and they said Harriman! It was really cool to talk to them! Well, come to find out, the girl that was there served in this mission 4 years ago and came back to visit with her Mom for a fun trip! Then they asked me where I was from and said Nibley and they said: "No way, I think I know someone from Nibley that was serving in our Ward in Virginia." She said that they moved to Virgina a few years ago and they are planning on moving back to Utah. They showed me a picture of him and I didn't recognize him and so they weren't sure if he said he was from Nibley or somewhere else in Utah. It was really cool! So we had some great classes and then we went to Sacrament Meeting! We had 3 speakers and they all did a great job! Sister Sangster, Brother Broodram, and Elder Stevens all spoke and gave great talks! Then, after Sacrament Meeting we scheduled a few appointments with a few of the members that Love in our area! We talked to Dalton and he wants us to come over tonight for desert! I had an awesome idea to make the cheesecake that you bought me and bring that! I have been saving it for a special occasion but it will be fun to share with everyone! It should be a lot of fun! So after church, we were all starving and so we headed back to the apartment for dinner. Then, we had an appointment with a lady named Yenice and her 16 year old son, Steven. We were really excited! Elder Kirkham and I found her tracting and we have only seen her at the doorstep a few times since then. We have had 2 scheduled appointments with her and both times she hasn't been home when we show up at the time that she said that she would be home. So we went over to her apartment and knocked on her door. We could hear lots of noise coming from the apartment and so we were excited because that meant that she was home. Her daughter that we have never met before answered the door and told us that Yenice or Steven weren't home. We couldn't believe it! All of her kids and her boyfriend were there making dinner and so we were pretty sure that Yenice and Steven were home. So we told them to have a great night and then we went to go see our good friend Mike. All of these families live in project buildings and so sometimes it can be hard to schedule appointments with them. We didn't have an appointment so we thought that we would just stop by and say hi. His 2 little brothers, Judah and Daniel, answered the door. We said hi to them and then we asked them if Mike, Augusta, or Edwin were home. They said that Mike and Augusta were home and then we could see that Mike was just lying on his bed and Augusta was watching tv. We asked his 2 brothers if we could share a quick message about peace with them and so they ran to their Mom and said: "The missionaries are here!" Then we overheard the Mom tell them to tell us that she was getting ready for work. We could clearly see that she wasn't getting ready for work and she was just sitting on the couch watching tv. We were really hoping that we could share a message with them because they are a great family! So we then decided to go see Sister Johnson in the care center! We always love going to visit her! I have to tell you something really cool! I have never seen anything like it! So just before the sun goes down, tons of fireflies start popping up everywhere! Then after Sister Johnson, we were sitting on a park bench and we did a quick companionship study before heading back to the apartment and the whole grass parkway behind us was flashing with all of these fireflies. It was very cool!!! So we got to Sister Johnson's care center and she was out in the hall in a wheelchair which is a great sign that her health is getting better! She was out in the hallway visting with some of the other patients and so we got to talk with them! We talked with 2 really nice people named, Frankie and Rosie. Frankie is very knowledgeable about religion and so we got talking to him about the Book of Mormon and the Restoration! He accepted a Book of Mormon and said that he would read it! Then we gave Sister Johnson the sacrament and she was very appreciative as usual. She is a great lady and we enjoy our visits and lessons! Then after Sister Johnson, we walked down the street and we had about a half an hour before we had to head back to the apartment. So we did companionship study and watched the fireflies as we studied! Then, we went back to the apartment after a great day!

Wow! Monday was a really awesome day! We woke up, exercised, got ready for the day, did our studies, and then headed out the door to go set up for District Meeting. So after we set everything up, we went downstairs to go to Leadership Meeting with the Zone Leaders and the Spanish District Leader, Elder Brown and Elder Munoz! We had a great Leadership Meeting! We walked in and the Assistant to President Smith, Elder Davis, was on a split with Elder Stevens! It was really good to see him! So we talked about how to start lessons and how we can improve beginning to teach our investigators. It was a great Leadership Meeting and we all learned a lot. Then, Elder Dick conducted a great District Meeting and we all learned a lot. We went over our announcements and then we talked about all of our investigators and what they need to progress and come to Church! It is always really nice to get some more input from everyone in the District at how we can better ourselves and help our investigators progress! Then, after our District Meeting, we had an appointment with a lady named Jean George and her husband who we had never met before. We showed up to her apartment right on time but nobody answered. We called her but unfortunately she didn't answer. We are really trying to figure out how to make sure that our investigators are home for our appointments. It makes it really hard when our investigators either forget about our appointment or go out to run errands. We were still optimistic that we would still have a great day nd find someone to teach! So we headed back to the apartment for a late lunch, early dinner, and did all of our studies! I have been learning so much and enjoying the hour a day that we get to slow down and read the scriptures and study Preach my Gospel! I have learned a ton but I'm always trying to improve on my teaching skills and getting to teach by the spirit and really focus on what our investigator need. So we did all of our studies and then we were heading over to our evening appointment with Kay! We had been in contact with her all day and she was getting excited to have us over. Then as we were walking over, we got a text and it was from Kay. She said that her Daughter was over for a visit and so she wanted to reschedule for Tuesday. We said: "Oh perfect! We could share a quick message with her too!" She really wanted to reschedule for another day and so we needed to figure out something else to do for the rest of our evening. We looked through our area book and something really cool happened!!! I was looking through the names of people we could go visit and try to set up a time to come back and then I got a really strong prompting to go visit a new Bible referral that we got from Salt Lake and few days ago. We hadn't set anything up but I had a strong feeling that we should go visit him. So off we went to Co-Op City to meet this guy and see if he was home. So we showed up to his apartment building. His name is Angelo Hernandez! We knocked on his door and he was so happy to see us! He was in his mid 70s and he reminded me a lot like Grandpa Lindberg. He was a really nice guy was so friendly! We got to know him a little bit better and he is from the Bronx and has lived there his whole life. He moved into a really nice apartment about 6 years ago. He is really blessed to be living in such a nice apartment! I would say that it was one of the nicest apartments I have seen so far. So we taught him the Restoration and we all felt the spirit very strong! It is so great to see the faith of our investigators grow and know that they are feeling the spirit! He said that he really wants to build his faith in Jesus Christ and get to know Heavenly Father better! He says that he prays morning and night but hasn't been to Church in a long time. We had a great, spiritual lesson with him and we loved getting to know him better. After our lesson with scheduled another lesson with him this Friday and so we are excited for that! Then, it was time to head back to the apartment for the night and get some rest after a great day!

Tuesday was another awesome day! I was so excited to get your email and I couldn't wait for it! We woke up, exercised, got ready for the day, and then we did our studies. Unfortunately, Elder Knudsen was feeling worse yesterday but we both had important lessons in each of our areas. So, we decided that Elder Dick and Elder Jackman would go out to all of the lessons in both area while I stayed with Elder Knudsen. I cleaned the whole apartment from top to bottom and it looks so nice and clean now! It was really nice to be able to clean but I felt really bad for Elder Knudsen because he has been really sick. He physically couldn't get up and has had a really bad cough. He just couldn't do much missionary work so he thought it would be best for him to stay at the apartment. It's hard when someone is sick because that means someone's area isnt being visited for a whole day. He went to church and was fine but woke up yesterday really not feeling well. So, the 4 of us worked out a plan to accommodate both of our areas since we both had appointments. So we worked out that Elder Dick would go into their area with Elder Jackman and go to a few lessons that they had. So I stayed with Elder Knudsen and I cleaned the whole apartment while he rested. I could tell that he was really not feeling well and he was in some pain. So they had their lessons and then came back to the apartment and then we all had dinner. They had a great split and enjoyed working together! Then after dinner, we walked up Boston Road and went to go see our good friend and investigator, Mike. We knocked on his door and his little 3 year old brother, Judah, answered the door. He is such a cute little guy! He is completely bald and has the quietest voice you have ever heard. Then, his older brother who is Puck's age, came to the door wearing a Golden State shirt and I thought about Puck. I talked to him a little bit about the Warriors and them winning the NBA Championship. I always love connecting to our investigators.....especially when it comes to sports! Mike was actually not home and so we headed over to a lesson with Kay! We were so excited for this lesson because we had planned to extend a Baptisimal date to her! We have really been progressing with her but she has been struggling to keep commitments like reading the Book of Mormon and coming to church. So we knocked on Kay's door and we headed out to a bench right outside and we had an amazing lesson with her! The spirit was very strong and so we felt prompted to extend a Baptisimal date to her on August 5th. She thought and thought......and then she said that she needed some time to think about it because she wanted to be sure that it was the right decision. We knew that she wanted to be sure and so we were excited to hear her decision! So after our great lesson, we headed back to the apartment for the night and I was SO excited to read your email and see your awesome pictures!

I can't beleive it either but transfer calls are 1 week from this Saturday and my 6 month mark is this Tuesday! It is so exciting! I CANNOT believe it either that I have been out for 6 months already!! It is crazy how fast time flies! It is so crazy that Elder Houser will hit his year Mark this next month! It is always so hard to be away from you and everything that you do. It's exciting thought to be out here doing what I should and what you want me to be doing! It is so hard to believe that I could be in a completely different area in less than 2 weeks. Transfer calls are a week from this Saturday and then transfers are in 2 weeks from yesterday. It really is so hard to believe that my time in the good old Bronx may or may not be ending here in a few short weeks. But I'm really excited to hear where Heavenly Father wants and needs me.

I feel really bad because I dropped the ball and didn't take a single picture this week. I think I have pretty much taken a picture of everything that I could from every possible angle! Hehe! But here is the exciting news that we are going to do today! We are going to......The Botanical Gardens!!! Today for Elder Knudsen is still very sick and so we are really hoping that none of us get it. I am trying to do the same thing that Dad did and not get too sick for my mission. So he will most likely stay inside the whole day which is really unfortunate for Elder Jackman. I feel bad that he has to spend his whole P-Day inside. But he will get some much needed rest. So today for P-day we decided to do something really fun! We think that the Botanical Garden is free today and so Elder Dick and I are going to go check that out and see how cool it is! If it is free, then we will go see it and then we may come back and I will go with Elder Jackman on a mini split and go see it since Elder Dick wants to get some rest. So we just did everyone's laundry and now we are just waiting for it in the dryer and then we will go shopping for everybody also. It will be a big job to shop for Elder Jackman and Elder Knudsen! It should be an awesome day! I will be thinking about you all day! I hope that you have lots of fun with the Dunns! Tell them hi and give them a hug from New York! The Botanical Gardens are so close that we can walk to it. It is crazy to think that we have the Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo practically in our backyard. It should be an awesome day and I will be sure to take lots of pictures! I will be sure to take lots of pictures too if I get transferred. I just think that I have taken pictures of almost everything.

Well everyone! It has been a ton of fun to read your amazing email and look at your awesome pictures! I loved your email so much!! It has been a lot of fun to email you and I hope that we can email back and forth! I just want you to know that I love, appreciate, and miss you all so much! You are always in my prayers and I always feel so many prayers come my way. I always remember how we prayed for the missionaries almost every night before I left. It is always comforting to know that I always have so much love and support! I am working hard and trying my best and having the best attitude I can! It has been so cool to be serving a mission and I still can't believe that I am in New York. I am really working on my New York accent so you can hear it in just a few short months for Christmas. Hehe! I hope you all have an amazing week and have lots of fun! Good luck at all of your activities and work! I will be thinking about you all week! I love and miss you all very much! I can feel so much love and support. LOVE YOU ALL TONS!!! ♥️

Love You Always!
~Elder Lindberg
